POSITION PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for ensuring that group inventory is accurately and efficiently maintained at all times for the three Milwaukee hotels.

The position will be responsible for entering group blocks and rooming lists, setting up group billing, managing straight line availability, entering and modifying VIP reservations and generating various reports as requested by your supervisors.

Daily communication with Reservations, Conference Service Managers, Sales and Catering Managers and the Revenue Department will be an integral part of the position.

This position will be responsible to attend Pre-Cons and conduct "Scrub" meetings as well as attend Revenue and Sales meetings on occasion and as requested
.

The position is responsible for resolving group interface issues between Delphi and the three hotels' PMS/CRS systems.


This position acts as a customer service liaison between the M1 Sales Team & the Catering/Events Team at each of the Milwaukee hotels as it relates to reservation requests for client favors, site visits, pre-convention visits and any other reasons that may arise.

The position adjusts priorities based upon the needs of the hotels.

This position may also include handling crew manifests and inventory management as prescribed by your supervisor.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Typing

  • Communicate orally and in writing
  • Input of group blocks
  • Modification of group room blocks
  • Input of group room lists
  • Processing of VIP reservations
  • Work with Sales/Catering managers to control group room allocations
  • Complete projects as dictated by the Director of Revenue
  • Perform any miscellaneous duties as assigned

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years hotel experience in Front Office or Hotel Reservations Center
  • Typing
30 w.p.m.


  • Professional grammar, speech, spelling and communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of computer systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of PMS/RMS systems (OnQ, Opera, R&I, GRO, IDeasG3 are a plus)
  • Accuracy with numbers
