Job Summary:


Staci Americas is looking for an experienced
Warehouse Operations Supervisor to manage and oversee all shift warehouse activities at multiple building sites, ensure efficient processes, and maximize warehouse productivity, with hands-on approach.


Job Duties:


  • Supervise and assist in daily warehouse and shipping areas.
  • Maintain effective internal controls over product flow and inventory, determining space requirements, ensuring inventory is put away, relocated, and stored accurately according to safety regulations.
  • Manage the daily work schedules of fulfillment associates to ensure a smooth and productive operation.
  • Responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of equipment, as well as ensuring there is a safe, clean working environment.
  • Plan and coordinate staffing to meet daily order fulfillment and shipping needs.
  • Train on the safe operation of equipment and the maintenance of material handling equipment.
  • Motivate, evaluate, and coach warehouse staff.
  • Manage Shipping/Receiving Clerk and Account Leads.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:


Knowledge of:


  • Warehousing practices and procedures including receiving and shipping methods, supervision, and accountability.
  • Principles and practices of leadership and work management.
  • Warehouserelated SOP's.
  • Individual Account work instructions.
  • Warehouse processes and procedures.

Skill In:


  • Make recommendations to the Operations Manager on programs to improve warehouse operations.
  • Interviews and recommends associate applicants for hire.
  • Manage the 5S of the facility.
  • Training and developing hourly associates.
  • Safety.
  • MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Organizational protocols.

Ability to:


  • Multitask in a fastpaced, demanding warehouse environment.
  • Train and develop hourly associates.
  • Learn Staci Americas proprietary Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Understand and ensure compliance with SOP's, individual account work instructions and other warehouse processes and procedures.

Pay:
From $55,000.00 per year

Education:


  • High school or equivalent (required)

Experience:


  • 3PL: 4 years (preferred)
Supervising Experience: 4 years (required)

  • Warehouse supervisor experience: 4 years (required)
