On behalf of our client in Sternenfels, we are currently looking for a Software Developer (m/f/d) with a focus on FabAutomation to join our team as soon as possible.

Our client is a mechanical engineering company that designs and builds systems for the production of high-performance microchips.

The technically demanding manufacturing process of these chips involves multiple complex processing steps, where microstructures are replicated with high precision.

Our client is a specialist in this field, offering an exciting international work environment in a high-tech company that shapes the future with its products and solutions.

As a Software Developer, your responsibilities will include CAD design tasks for devices and equipment used in semiconductor production, as well as creating production documents and documentation such as bills of materials, drawings, risk analyses, and feasibility studies.

You will also work independently with interfaces in media technology, electrical engineering, process technology, and software - with frequent communication in English.

Additionally, you will coordinate design work with internal and external team members for complex R&D projects, create and edit specifications, communicate with suppliers to evaluate potential solutions and components, and oversee prototype production.

You will also be responsible for designing test setups for your own constructions and creating test plans with the test team.

Occasional international business trips may be required for commissioning and qualification of new features with our end customers.
