We are currently seeking for a full-time Account Receivable Coordinator to join our Patient Financial Services Department

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Associate Director of Patient Accounts manages the self-pay, charity, pre-collect, and collection accounts receivables. Ensuring proper balance

ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS:

Verify true self-pay balances
Manage self-pay AR inventory for Thorek and Andersonville
Manage inventory of self-pay accounts with State collections, TSI and Glass

Mountain.

Handle a ll requests from third party collection agencies

(actively pursue charity).

Manage daily collection and bad debt account placements
Work agency close and return files
Manage phones, front desk at business office, patient walk-in's
Manage high dollar old account receivables report
Review credit balances as requested
Potential refunds (patient refunds mostly)
Self-pay pricing quotes/cash package
Screens self-pay accounts for insurance
Performs other duties as assigned by Department Head.

Qualifications:

High School graduate

3-5 years of prior experience working as a financial counselor, self-pay account representative, or in patient financial services
