As a Resource Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial information and policies to identify and resolve problems, discrepancies, and errors in financial data and/or finance systems in support of the mission

What You Will Be Doing :

Ensuring the maintenance of data integrity.
Providing technical assistance to the Office to solve a full range of financial problems.
Ensuring financial program data integrity and reporting accuracy.
Establishing and maintaining appropriate internal controls.
Re-engineering financial execution and budgetary processes using financial operational best practices and procedures.
Establishing, implementing, and analyzing complex financial activities.
Ensuring financial compliance.
Providing strategic and/or specific financial resource advice and guidance to most senior managers and staff on the design, implementation, and/or management financial activities.
Serving as lead technical resource to senior level customer management and external entities (i.e., CMS, OMB, and Congress) in the presentation of budgetary briefings and/or the provision of technical supporting documentation/outlines.

Required Skills

Must Have :

MUST HAVE a Current and Active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph, as the customer is NOT sponsoring clearances.
Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board (FASAB), and Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB).
Intermediate knowledge of appropriate Federal law and customer regulations, procedures, policies, concepts, methods, and standards impacting financial activities.
Intermediate knowledge of business resource planning practices, spend plan management, and customer budgeting practices and procedures.
Ability to be proficient in customer automated systems and learn the relationships and dependencies of the data within these systems.
Microsoft Office Suite tools skills; specifically, PowerPoint and Excel, including efficiently creating and analyzing pivot tables.
