- Perform all skills defined in Civil Designer III at a high level of proficiency
- Assist in the Construction Admin responsibilities of at least one project that you were involved in throughout the entire course of construction (precon thru closeout)
- Coordinate directly with Clients, Contractors, and government agencies to provide solutions to field issues, review change orders and pay apps, evaluate asbuilts, and coordinate project closeout.
- Evaluate and provide suggested solutions to problem solving and troubleshooting issues arising in the field.
- Coordinate with Senior Designer, Practice Leaders on solutions
- Ability to review and comment on final plats, roadway, and drainage asbuilts, water and sewer asbuilts provided by the Contractor and Surveyor.
- Ability to coordinate asbuilt comments between the Surveyor and Contractor for any field items found during asbuilt review.
- Working know of the closeout process and timeline.
- Perform QA/QC reviews on civil design work and plan presentation.
- Assist in review of tasks prepared by Civil Designers, Technicians, and Interns prior to delivery of work product to the Civil Project Manager for review.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college/university
- Ability to prepare a complete set of construction documents for multiple project types
- Ability to review and comment on final plats, roadway and drainage as-builts, water and sewer as-builts provided by the contractor and surveyor
- Working knowledge of the closeout process and timeline
- EIT required (on the path to obtaining their PE)

A leading civil design firm in the Carolinas is looking to add a Civil Project Coordinator to their team.This role is intended to serve as the transitional phase between Civil Designer and Project Manager, with more emphasis placed on skills associated with project management duties.
This individual is expected to assist the civil engineering team in the production of civil design, plan preparation, and permitting.
