    Who you are:


    ConXtech is seeking an experienced project coordinator / project engineer whounderstands the process of coordinating architectural, engineering, fabrication, andconstruction details from design through construction on multi-story, steel frameresidential and commercial buildings.


    You have:
    A Bachelor's degree preferably in Engineering or Construction Management; and/or applicable combination of education and work experience.
    Experience reading structural and architectural drawings.
    Modeling and detailing knowledge with Tekla Structures (preferably v20.0 & v2019i).
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams (remote working).
    Proficiency in the following software tools:

    Procore (construction Admin- document control)
    Revit, Tekla, AutoCAD and SketchUp
    BlueBeam

    Ability to seek out missing information and initiate RFI's for missing information.

    Ability to cross reference drawings and assimilate information from multiple drawingsto ensure final clear and accurate documents so that construction crews can proceedwithout further research.

    Ability to communicate / clarify drawing specifications to constructions crews.
    Understanding of AISC code requirements, shop processes, and erection process andprocedures.
    Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    What you'll be doing:
    As a Project Engineer at ConXtech, you'll:

    Be a professional and collaborative liaison between clients, design/engineering,fabrication / manufacturing and construction teams
    Assist project managers in reviewing design drawings for accuracy and completeness
    Review contract and shop drawings for manufacturability and constructability
    Identify areas where ConXtech's unique standard details can be used and coordinatewith design and engineering teams to implement
    Ensure optimization of the ConX System by efficiently and correctly integratingConXtech core system components into all phases of the project

    Assist in reading and interpreting project plans and specifications from concept throughIssue For Construction (IFC) phases of the design-build process.

    Communicate changes to the detailing team and reconcile all resulting structural detailchanges with all team members
    Organize detailing RFI's and create formal RFI's for review by the engineer, architect,and general contractor
    Communicate with off-site detailing subcontractors to ensure quality drawings aredelivered on time
    Review and submittal of shop drawings created by steel detailers
    Assist project manager in management of subcontractors, including metal deckers,miscellaneous steel, etc.
    Work with structural steel fabrication team (particularly through the fabricationprocess) and communicate any deviations from "system" approach, which may requirespecial attention
    Work closely with manufacturing and material procurement to ensure all drawings andBOM's are correctly transferred to ConXtech MRP system
    Facilitate post-integration project review for conformance with ConXtech standards
    Perform any additional reasonable tasks consistent with your professional abilities thatmay be requested by the company

    Where you'll be working:


    You'll be working remotely from home with the occasional onsite meeting as needed at asatellite office or our company headquarters in Pleasanton, CA.

    There are some restrictions tothis opportunity and therefore we are looking for candidates in the following states:
    AZ, CA,CO, PA, TX, and WA.
