We are currently seeking a pedagogical specialist (m/f/d) with a degree in social pedagogy or a comparable qualification to join our therapeutic coeducational residential facility in Salisbury, NC.

Our facility provides care for adolescents and young adults between the ages of 16 and 21 at the intersection of child and youth psychiatry and child and youth welfare.

The individuals we care for often find themselves in difficult life situations and exhibit noticeable behavioral and coping strategies.

In our daily work, we focus on individual support for the youth, as well as collaboration with families and cooperation with schools, child and youth psychiatry facilities, and other institutions.


We are looking for someone who is interested in and/or has experience working with adolescents and young adults in psychiatric settings, and who is also comfortable with organizational and coordinating tasks.

We offer a responsible position with a high level of autonomy, opportunities for further education, participation in supervision, and flexible working hours.

Compensation is based on the AVR DPWV.

Position type:
Full-time, part-time, permanent contract, fixed-term contract

Working hours: 20-40 per week


Working schedule:

  • 8hour shifts
  • Weekend work may be required
