As a Pipe Layer, you will be a critical member of our pipe crew, responsible for the precise and safe installation of water, sewer, and drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Pipe Installation: Precisely install pipes according to project plans, blueprints, and design specifications, ensuring proper alignment and grade.
- Safety: Strictly adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team, as well as compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Trenching and
Excavation Support:
Assist in trenching and excavation tasks, as needed, to prepare the work area for pipe installation.
- Material Handling: Safely handle pipes, materials, and equipment required for the project, positioning them accurately for installation.
- Quality Control: Ensure that pipe installation work meets project standards and design specifications, including proper bedding and backfilling.
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with the pipe crew, Pipe Crew Foreman, and other team members to coordinate pipe laying activities and achieve project goals.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with team members and supervisors, reporting progress, challenges, and any issues as needed.
- Problem Solving: Identify and address operational challenges or issues that may arise during pipe laying and related tasks.
- Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and care of tools and equipment used for pipe installation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Pipe Layer in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in pipe installation techniques, including proper bedding and backfilling.
- Knowledge of construction plans, blueprints, and underground utility installation procedures.
- Strong commitment to safety and strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and at different job sites as required.
