The district of Erlangen-Höchstadt is looking for a Deputy Head of Department and Representative of the Department Head in the field of Integration Assistance (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible in full-time (job sharing is possible) for the Department 23 - Office for Children, Youth and Family - in the field of Economic Youth Welfare at the Erlangen-Höchstadt District Office in Erlangen.

Your tasks include:

Provision of outpatient, semi-stationary and stationary youth and integration assistance

  • Preparation of decisions in legal and economic terms for the provision of assistance, in particular with examination of local and material jurisdiction
  • Participation in decision conferences with the departments of Child and Youth Services and Social Services
  • Issuance of assistance decisions
  • Examination and payment of invoices from service providers
  • Enforcement of refinancing with independent negotiation with various rehabilitation agencies, clarification of disputed financing obligations and settlement of cost reimbursement claims
  • Timely forwarding according to § 14 SGB IX to responsible rehabilitation agencies
  • Examination of claimed cost reimbursement claims
  • Independent implementation of case assignments and case takeover procedures in cooperation with youth offices and district
