Job Overview:

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to optimize the sourcing and purchasing of offsite construction materials, products, and services while achieving cost savings and maintaining quality standards.
Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts for offsite purchases.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including design, estimating, construction, and finance, to identify offsite purchasing requirements and ensure alignment with project schedules and budgets.
Lead the evaluation and qualification of new suppliers and vendors to expand the company's offsite purchasing capabilities and enhance competitive advantage.
Monitor market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks in offsite procurement and implement appropriate strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
Implement best practices, processes, and systems to streamline offsite purchasing workflows, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the offsite purchasing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, or related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the residential construction industry.
Strong understanding of offsite construction methods, materials, and supply chain dynamics.
Proven track record of negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and achieving cost savings in offsite purchasing.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex data, identify opportunities, and develop actionable plans to achieve business objectives.

Pay:
$100, $125,000.00 per year
