Since 1984, BI Elbinseln has been providing youth welfare and vocational training measures for young people in the Harburg and Mitte districts.

For our children and youth work in Wilhelmsburg, we are looking for an Education Support (m/f/d) for our vocational training program "Health and Nursing Assistance" as soon as possible.

The position is full-time (39 hours/week) but part-time is also possible.

The position includes two areas of work:

  • Supported training for Health and Nursing Assistants (GPA)
  • Support for company trainees in the GPA program

The tasks include:

  • Teaching and social pedagogical support
  • Social training to promote the trainees' ability to act
  • Support and career planning
  • Social pedagogical support and assistance
  • Documentation
  • Collaboration with internal and external professionals
  • Acquisition of participants
We are looking for someone who enjoys working with young people and has the following qualifications and expertise:

  • Degree in social work or related field
  • Competencies in teaching and group support
  • Experience working with young people
  • Cooperation and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work in a structured and independent manner
