- Installation, service, or repair of specified Structured Cabling; Security Systems; CCTV Systems; Voice/Data; Fiber Optic; Paging and Sound Masking systems.
- Assist with the start-up and commissioning of new equipment or system installations.
- Overcome challenges on retrofits and new installations.
- Daily communication with Project Managers.
- Completion of daily safety plans and additional documents.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid MN Power Limited Technician License, or acquire within the next year of employment.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license - travel between jobsites is required.
- Ability to report to job sites around the Rochester area. Jobsite start times may vary.
- Possess a strong work ethic and commitment to being on time for scheduled work days.
- Independent worker that is well organized and focused on meeting project deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on high level of customer service.
- Ability to observe and follow Egans safety standards/procedures.
- This position requires reliable transportation to arrive at the worksite consistently and on time.
- 3 year Limited Energy JATC training or equivalent in time worked in the industry.
- Current IBEW member or willingness to join the local IBEW.
- To qualify for employment, this position requires a pre-employment drug screen prior to starting.
- Performance of duties will be on job sites with exposure to loud noise, dirt, and the elements.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry 40 pounds (alone) or 50 to 85 pounds with assistance (team).
- Climbing ladders/stairs, uneven ground, bending, kneeling, and twisting are to be expected on job sites.
