- Lifeguard shallow water attendant certification, CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (can be obtained during the interview process)
- Deliver swim instruction following the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
- Ensure safety compliance and act promptly in case of emergencies.
- Assess students' progress and maintain accurate records.
- Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student development.
- Represent GSS to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Resolve challenges faced by students using problem-solving skills.
- Inspect pool areas for maintenance needs and report issues.
- Maintain pool equipment and cleanliness.
- Report incidents and complete necessary documentation.
- Perform additional tasks as required.

Reporting to: Deck Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Role Summary: Provide swim instruction and water safety training based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Background: Our employees have diverse backgrounds, including childcare, coaching, retail, and more.
Certificates and Licenses: Obtain Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certification within 90 days of hire.
Work Environment: Exposure to heat and humidity; moderate noise level.
Safety Standards: We adhere to CDC, WHO, and local safety guidelines, with additional cleaning protocols and ventilation systems for a safe environment.
