POSITION SUMMARY
Through Nestlé Needs You, we combine finely tuned classroom education, professional mentoring, and practical work experience to provide entry-level opportunities where you can nurture your technical skills in a manufacturing environment.
As an Electrical Maintenance Intern, you will have the opportunity to observe and participate in multiple projects (or one large project with diversity of work).
A mentor will be assigned to you, will have the primary responsibility for planning the Maintenance Intern's day-to-day workload and will oversee performance.
They will also help connect the dots that exist between your technical education and the factory floor.This is important since our Maintenance Interns are enrolled students pursuing a degree or certificate in an electrical or mechanical type program, and who are able to work at least 16 hours per week as an intern.
Electrical support for the safe installation, troubleshooting, assembly, repair of machines, safety systems, and associated parts.Provide support to production for system issues and answering trouble calls.
Support corporate and division Engineering and IT personnel with maintenance and installation of plant and corporate initiatives.
Adhere to all Safety and NPPC manufacturing systems guidelines.
Requirements
Requires full time enrollment in a technical program starting Spring 2024 semester pursuing a certificate or degree in manufacturing technology.
Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
