    Description

    Summary About the Position:

    Serves as the Supervisory Acquisition Analyst for Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS), Tactical Aviation and Ground Munitions (TAGM) Project Office.

    Position is subject to a salary control point equivalent to the GS-14, step 10 base salary. Salary for the position will be set within a range from $127,073 to $165,197 with locality. If the incumbent's salary currently exceeds this level, the salary control point will be the incumbent's existing salary. Responsibilities Direct all activities associated with contract management and efficiency of contract processes and actions. Coordinates with major subordinate staff to coordinate procurement plans and programs. Review correspondence, policy, and other business management materials for accuracy to meet strategic goals and objectives. Review, approve or redirect procurement planning. Direct the development, production, and fielding of a major aviation weapon system and/or related mission equipment.

    You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

    Specialized Experience:
    One year of experience which includes: 1) In-depth knowledge of aviation weapon systems; 2) Ability to lead a group/team in developing, maintaining, and coordinating acquisition plans and programs to assure timely and economical requirements are met; and 3) Experience working with contracting agencies to ensure contracts are taken from requirements definition to contract award. This typically includes work performed at the next lower grade/level (NH-03/GS-13) position in the federal service.

    For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience aloneno substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information This is a pay banded position. The NH-04 encompasses grades 14 and 15 on the General Schedule. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
