- Participate as an internal consultant to the Director of Nursing on issues including, but not limited to, clinical metrics, staff performance and trends affecting customers.
- Work in tandem with Medical Director to measure, evaluate and adjust clinical protocols for ongoing quality improvement.
- Participate in implementation work groups of new contracts to ensure process, workflows adhere to program practices.
- Provide departmental and individual coaching for success on clinical practices.
- Interpret data to provide formal reporting of outcomes, recommendations, and solutions, utilizing evidenced based criteria and present findings.
- Develop annual quality performance plan to include all lines of departmental business, patient safety measures, transportation measures, patient satisfaction.
- Perform workflow analysis, provide consulting on workflow changes that need to occur with the implementation of new functionality solutions and validate post-go-live to resolve gaps or outstanding issues.
- Investigate clinical issues or complaints, as referred to be Managers or Staff. Provide after action plans.
- Ensure all nurses remain in compliance with licensure requirements.
- Participate in call taking and navigating, as needed.

Description
The Quality Assurance Supervisor Registered Nurse (RN) drives Quality programs in the Nurse Navigation Department. Quality assurance activities include performance reviews of nurse, patient, and other stakeholder interactions. Produces performance reports, presentation decks, action plans and quality improvement projects for both internal and external stakeholders.This position will conduct customer workflow analysis and recommend education, quality and troubleshooting strategies, when needed, to help resolve customer issues.
This position will have no direct reports. This role will include working with Paramedics in the field.Percentage breakdown:
* 25% monthly presenting utilizing data and PowerPoint.
* 50% clinical observation and in call center listening to phone calls and providing QA.
* 25% generating reports from data collected.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Pre-Hospital / EMT experience
Data driven background or experience.
Power BI experience
Bachelor's degree in nursing required, Masters preferred.
Active RN license in good standing (compact or multistate)
3-5 years of demonstrated clinical quality.
5-10 years of RN experience
Looking for someone who is data driven or enjoys working with data.
Looking for someone who has excellent interpersonal skills
Experience performing quality assurance programs for clinical and non-clinical staff.
Knowledge of performance evaluation and customer service metrics.
Ability to work in highly complex, technical environments.
Excellent communication and presentation skills (written, verbal) can create reporting and presentations.
Ability to measure and evaluate staff training needs, as it relates to clinical practice.
Open to a flexible schedule to accommodate clinical hours for coaching.
Strong skills in using Microsoft tools as such as Visio, Teams, PowerPoint
Excel experience including pivot tables and VLOOKUP's.
