Duties:


As a/an Information Technology Spec (INFOSEC), you will:

  • Provide technical expertise in support of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) surrounding ICAM solutions to deliver cybersecurity tools, integration services and dashboards to help Treasury improve the security posture.
  • Prioritize and schedule areas to be evaluated and develops assessment criteria.
  • Analyze findings and develop longrange plans for security systems that minimize risks, mitigate vulnerabilities, prevent security incidents, and insure systems reliability.
  • Consult with top management officials to develop strategies and policies that govern implementation of security and reliability procedures throughout the organization.
  • Interpret and evaluate proposed legislation and broadbased policies concerning IT.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.

Qualifications:


  • You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
  • SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS 14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS 13 grade level in the Federal service
    .
Specialized Experience for this position includes:

Experience monitoring program compliance to requirements, regulations, or established performance levels

; AND
:

Experience providing technical expertise to the design, development, and implementation of ICAM policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the agency and federal guidelines
; AND
:

Experience with developing and delivering security standards, best practices, architecture and systems to ensure information system security across the enterprise
; AND
:

Experience with program analysis, including the experience guiding and structuring the work of staff and understanding large quantities of information and the production of a wide variety of written materials.
In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below
