The Hotel Mariposa is seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Guest Service Representative.As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Checkin and checkout guests efficiently and accurately
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Assist with reservations and room assignments
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Perform night audit duties as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
- Proficient in phone etiquette and handling guest inquiries over the phone
- Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures is advantageous
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Detailoriented with strong organizational skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Pay:
From $19.73 per hour

- High school or equivalent (required)

- Hotel: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
