The Hotel Mariposa is seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Guest Service Representative.

As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional hospitality and ensuring a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor
• Checkin and checkout guests efficiently and accurately
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
• Assist with reservations and room assignments
• Process payments and maintain accurate records
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
• Perform night audit duties as required

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Multilingual abilities are a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
• Proficient in phone etiquette and handling guest inquiries over the phone
• Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures is advantageous
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
• Detailoriented with strong organizational skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
