Summary/Objective
The Project Manager, Harvey Neighborhood Network works with the Special Projects Team and reports to the Special Projects Director.

The Project Manager helps develop and implement new processes and policies that support completion and compliance of project related activities.

This role must ensure that all processes and policies are adhered to at all times. This position routinely handles highly sensitive and/or confidential information and will represent CEDA in a variety of capacities. Must demonstrate good judgment, an ability to be approachable and professional, solid problem-solving skills, an ability to handle multiple tasks, an ability to be self
- motivated and well organized, and maintain strict confidentiality.


Essential Functions

  • Assist Deputy Director/Director with the Harvey Neighborhood Network Project.
  • Assist Deputy Director/Director with identifying and setting goals for various project components and monitoring outcomes for necessary adjustments.
  • Work in partnership with Restoration Ministries for the overall management of the Harvey Neighborhood Network. This includes working with other community based organizations, faith based organizations, various government agencies, and local residents.
  • Ensure the daily operations of Harvey Neighborhood Network and special projects are achieving outputs and maximizing desired outcomes for the operational efficiencies of the projects needs and requirements.
  • In partnership with the Special Projects Director, plans various stages of project design, implementation and compliance by prioritizing and organizing activities and resources to achieve project objectives.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with community stakeholders, organizations that serve the community and residents.
  • Recruit community volunteers for resident advisory board and young adults for junior advisory board.
  • Plan, manage, attend, and facilitate community meetings with residents on a regular basis, including nights and weekends.
  • Assist in planning, managing, and facilitating steering committee and subcommittee meetings.
  • Take accurate and detailed notes from meetings.
  • Data collection and data analysis.
  • Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions for review by the Special Projects Director.
  • Ability to design, implement, track and report trends related to assigned project goals, objectives and needs to create growth and operational efficiencies of future projects.
  • Attend training and professional development to ensure the technical integrity and regulated guidance and compliance of the policies and procedures related to commonly assigned projects.
  • Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements as necessary.
  • Provides support in gathering equipment, resources, and information to implement upcoming projects.
  • Manage projectrelated documents, ensuring all required materials are current and organized; ensures community is aware of all CEDA services.
  • Keeps all new projects in line with the company's mission and maintains consistency with the agency's message and brand.
  • Assist with community needs assessments within assigned territory.
  • Maintains record and data systems for tracking projects monitoring compliance issues and evaluating/reporting results.
