:Kondex Corporation is looking for a Laser Clad Operator II to join the Laser Cladding department.
Current opening on 3rd shift
3rd shift hours:
Sunday - Thursday 10:
00 pm - 6:
30 am
Training will occur on 1st shift, Monday - Friday 6:
00 am to 2:
30 pm for approximately 10-12 weeks.
- Hours can fluctuate depending on customer requirements and training needs._
- Setup and operate all elements of the robotic laser clad cell and meet predetermined rates.
- Read prints and routings.
- Follow established machine settings and parameters.
- Perform lockout tagout on equipment.
- Perform basic inspections using handheld measuring devices.
- Operate lift devices such as boom crane and hand jack.
- Close orders in computer system.
- Perform 5S activities, including limited preventative maintenance on equipment.
- May assist in training full time, part time or temporary associates in the department.
- The responsibilities listed above are not all encompassing of what may be asked of associates in this position.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions, prints, and inspection criteria.
- Ability to learn more complex equipment.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Prior robotics experience is preferred.
