Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate company vehicles to transport event materials, props, and equipment to designated vendors and venues.
- Load and unload event materials onto and off of vehicles, ensuring proper handling and securing of items to prevent damage during transit.
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of event setups, including stages, custom builds, signage, lighting, and furniture, following provided instructions and diagrams.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of event installations and removals, maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and cleanliness, and report any issues to management.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving, and maintain a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse managers, event managers, and other team members to coordinate logistics and ensure smooth execution of events.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including organizing inventory, restocking supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, driving, or event setup preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as required by event schedules.
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in event setup and installation.
- Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screenings as required.
