    Description

    Job Summary

    The chosen intern will work closely with the Senior Vice President of Operations & Chief of Staff at The International Center, as well as the Office Manager & CRM Administrator. The role involves supporting various aspects of accounting, finance, and operations, as well as project management for specific assignments from the operations team. Key responsibilities include recording invoices, managing financial documents, participating in finance meetings, and contributing to financial planning efforts. This internship offers exposure to non-profit financial procedures, budgeting, and involvement in diverse special projects across different departments.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain financial records accurately
    • Attend and prepare for finance meetings
    • Assist with financial planning, including budgeting and cashflow forecasting
    • Contribute to special projects aimed at enhancing financial practices
    • Provide help desk support

    Desired Learning Outcomes:

    • Develop an understanding of U. S. and International business practices and cultural diversities
    • Gain insights into accounts receivables procedures, budgeting techniques, organizational structures, financial tracking, and accounting methodologies
    • Enhance organizational skills and the ability to logically organize similar documents
