Description
What You'll Do:
- Develop a vision and strategy aligned with our technical centers of excellence
- Create plans to achieve business objectives
- Implement continuous improvement and best practices
- Manage key performance indicators and align them with operational goals
- Lead and develop both hourly and salary associates
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain staff for full engagement
- Ensure materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements
- Drive improved processes and systems for inventory accuracy
- Make budgetary recommendations and manage P&L results
- Lead physical inventory execution and deliver results
- Coordinate with planning team for scheduling data
- Support large-scale business transformation programs
- Be a key member of the site's leadership team
- Coach and develop unit personnel for compliance and performance
- Cultivate a culture of accountability and engagement
Requirements:
- 10+ years of manufacturing or technical experience
- 7+ years of supervisory experience in a business environment
- Experience with SAP and MRP systems preferred
- Strong communication, strategic thinking, and analytical skills
Physical Requirements:
- Sedentary work involving sitting most of the time
- Ability to communicate effectively with large groups
- High energy level
Mental Requirements:
- Ability to generate detailed proposals and guidelines
- Resolve nonroutine issues with independent judgement
- Make decisions that impact operations
- Observe minute inconsistencies
Basic Skills:
- Time management, project management, interpersonal skills, reporting and budgeting
