Overview:
Georges Media, the parent company of The Advocate, , and The Times-Picayune, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital Strategist to join our sales team. This role is pivotal in driving our digital sales efforts, with a primary focus on expanding our client base, nurturing existing relationships, and re-engaging past clients. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in large-scale sales initiatives involving a diverse range of digital products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management:
Grow and maintain relationships with existing customers.
Prospect and onboard new clients.
Reactivate past customers, leveraging our comprehensive suite of digital products.
2. Sales Strategy:
Develop and execute strategies for large-scale sales involving multiple digital products.
Collaborate closely with multimedia sales representatives to maximize sales opportunities.
Identify market trends and customer needs to guide product development and sales approaches.
3. Digital Advertising Expertise:
Provide expert guidance on SEM, SEO, social media marketing, and programmatic advertising.
Leverage strong analytical skills to assess campaign performance and optimize strategies.
4. Team Collaboration:
Work in tandem with various departments to ensure cohesive sales and marketing efforts.
Provide training and support to sales reps in digital advertising concepts and practices.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital advertising or sales role.
Proven track record in sales and client relationship management.
Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
Deep familiarity with SEM, SEO, social media, and programmatic advertising.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred).
