The role involves managing event marketing, promotions, and public relations campaigns for events hosted at Agganis Arena.

  • Supervises the Assistant Marketing Manager in fulfilling departmental needs, projects, budget, and overseeing game day and office interns, along with developing marketing and event strategic plans and vision.
  • Implements strategic plans for the marketing department, focusing on Boston University men's hockey ticket sales and game experience.
  • Collaborates with event promoters on event advertising, marketing, and public relations.
  • Organizes game day promotions at Boston University hockey games in Agganis Arena to increase attendance, revenue, sponsor benefits, and enhance Guest experience.
  • Hires and oversees the Assistant Marketing Manager, student promotional team, and office interns.
  • Executes game day event presentation elements including promotional giveaways, in-game promotions, and coordination with event personnel.
  • Engages with the Boston University community to boost attendance and publicity.

Required Skills:

  • B.A/B.S. in marketing, sports management, business management, or related field.
  • Excellent professional presentation, verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design and web publishing technology.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant event or sports marketing experience.
