Position Summary:

Housekeepers at Willows play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and immaculate environment during their stay. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of our facilities.

Responsibilities:

The Housekeeper's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Room Cleaning:

- Clean and maintain guest rooms and suites to a high standard, including making beds, dusting, and vacuuming.

Ensure that bathrooms are spotless, with clean fixtures and fresh linens.

Facility Cleaning:

- Clean and maintain all spaces, including kitchen, offices, hallways, lobbies, and lounges.

Monitor and replenish amenities in public restrooms.

Linen and Towel Care:

- Collect and sort soiled linens and towels.

Wash, dry, fold, and store linens as per established procedures.

Guest Supplies:

- Restock guest room amenities, such as toiletries, coffee, and refreshments.

Verify that each room's inroom items are in good condition.

Maintenance Reporting:

- Report any maintenance or repair needs in guest rooms or public areas.

Assist in maintaining the general order and functionality of the hotel.

Lost and Found:

- Report any lost items found during cleaning to the Housekeeping Supervisor.

Ensure lost items are stored and cataloged according to company policy.

Adherence to Procedures:

- Follow housekeeping procedures and guidelines to maintain cleanliness and sanitation.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Team Collaboration:

- Coordinate and communicate with the Housekeeping Supervisor and other staff to ensure efficient operations.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet department goals.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar setting is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to work efficiently and follow established cleaning procedures.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Physical fitness for lifting, bending, and long periods of standing.
