The bbs nürnberg supports and accompanies over 250 employees in providing education and vocational training for more than 800 children, adolescents, and young adults with blindness or visual impairment in Bavaria.

As a nationally recognized training institution, it is responsible for ensuring the educational and vocational training of blind and visually impaired young people.

We are currently seeking an
IT System Administrator (m/f/d) to support our network and IT infrastructure at three locations in Mattapoisett Center, MA.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

Your responsibilities will include:

Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software for end users
Providing 1st/2nd level support for hardware and softwarerelated issues
Identifying and resolving problems and malfunctions with hardware and software
Independently managing the internal IT system (e.g. network administration, server and client support)
Developing and documenting the entire IT infrastructure
Managing IT procurement and inventory of devices
Conducting employee training based on training concepts and materials
Coordinating and communicating with internal and external service partners

We expect you to have:

Completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration (m/f/d) or a similar qualification
Advanced knowledge in the administration of network devices, Microsoft Active Directory, and Microsoft client and server operating systems
Good German and English language skills
Willingness to cooperate, team spirit, and a serviceoriented mindset
