    Position Overview:
    Join our elite Modeling & Simulation (M&S) team as a Principal AFSIM Software Engineer.

    You will accelerate your career by building solutions using contemporary C++, MATLAB, and Python.

    Your skills will be honed through rigorous code reviews, in-depth discussions with analysts and intelligence professionals, and deep integration with customer teams.


    Key Responsibilities:
    Develop models, tests, and analysis products focused on AFSIM.
    Engage in software development, integration, customer training, and demonstration activities
    Utilize expertise in programming algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented software design
    Lead the integration of models into a comprehensive system-of-systems environment, analyzing large-scale mission vignettes

    Offer technical guidance in early systems engineering projects, promoting engineering technical rigor and championing best practices

    Requirements:
    Minimum of 10 Years of Experience
    A degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or another related technical field
    Significant experience with government (military) programs and a nuanced understanding of the AFSIM environment
    High standards and strive to deliver beautiful solutions
    Creative ideas and unique solutions to challenging technical problems
    Fantastic problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
    Strong C++ and Software Engineering Skills
    A U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a National Security Clearance (TOP SECRET, SCI with in-scope SSBI and SAP eligibility)
