Indirect Procurement Manager


The Indirect Procurement Manager will be directly responsible for overseeing all aspects of developing and implementing indirect sourcing strategies that align with Richelieu's key objectives.

The Indirect Procurement Manager will be tasked with a focus on supplier selection, relationship management, price negotiation, cost savings, and budget management.

This role will work to ensure a reliable supply chain of materials, goods, and services, negotiate terms and conditions to improve cost efficiencies, and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage all indirect procurement activities across the organization
  • Analyze spend data to develop a cost reduction strategy and deliver recommendations to the business
  • Collaborate cross functionally with internal stakeholders to continuously identify sourcing opportunities within facilities and corporate
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for designated categories, implement new programs, driving cost savings and optimize supplier performance
  • Develop and execute vendor service agreements
  • Manage vendor relationships, track performance, and communicate performance feedback
  • Establish a scorecard system to measure and assess suppliers' performance
  • Monitor, track and report on savings and key performance indicators for categories
  • Assist in the development and management of the annual budgeting process
  • Identify supply risks in indirect categories and develop risk mitigation strategies
  • Leverage functional experts through the sourcing process to assess market conditions, identify spend leverage opportunities, benchmark data, and other related activities
  • Performs other duties as required/assigned by leader

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent negotiation skills, verbal and written communication, and selfstarter
  • Strong background in process creation and management
  • Proven ability to provide insights that generate value and drive savings in indirect spend
  • Proficient in data analysis
  • Skilled in planning and executing the RFP process
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and problemsolving skills.
  • Good understanding of supply chain dynamics.
