We are looking for a full-time, permanent
employee (m/f/d) for the area of mechanical engineering/building technology at Theater Ulm, starting as soon as possible or according to availability.
The Theater Ulm is a three-division house with approximately 300 employees, around subscribers and approximately 460 performances per season.

The building and mechanical engineering department works in shifts (usually early and late shifts). As part of the performance operations, there may also be work assignments on weekends and holidays.

The salary is based on pay group 8 TVöD plus a theater operations supplement.

Your tasks:

  • Responsibility for monitoring, maintenance and repair of mechanical systems (upper and lower machinery) for use in the performance venues "Großes Haus" and "Podium"
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting of control software and hardware for mechanical systems during rehearsals and performances
  • Conducting safety inspections of rigging equipment and preparation of steel ropes for use in performances
  • Contact person for the city's building management in regards to repairs and maintenance work on mechanical and safety systems at the theater
  • Coordination and supervision of recurring expert inspections and annual safety inspections of
