Description

Responsibilities:

Follow lesson plans and instructions provided by the absent teacher
Provide instruction and support to students in the class you are assigned.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of students, including those with autism or special education requirements
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Manage student behavior and ensure a safe and productive learning environment
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of instruction

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in education or related field preferred
Experience working with children, particularly in a teaching or tutoring capacity
Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in education
Familiarity with special education strategies and accommodations for students with diverse learning needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to different classroom environments and follow lesson plans effectively
