    ROLE DESCRIPTION

    As a Project Engineer at our company, you will take charge of the technical and engineering components of assigned projects. Your main responsibilities will include leading an engineering team, collaborating with various departments and stakeholders, and ensuring successful project completion while meeting customer needs. Join our team and be part of delivering innovative solutions to our clients.


    • Establish a high-performance team with defined engineering practices and goals.
    • Contribute technical expertise to new business proposals and designs.
    • Coordinate and direct engineering activities for training device programs.
    • Review technical specifications, designs, and test plans to ensure project goals are met.
    • Lead hardware/software integration and release processes.
    • Identify project challenges and provide effective solutions.
    • Communicate effectively with the project team and stakeholders.
    • Offer engineering support during the manufacturing phase to ensure timely project delivery.
    • Represent the program technically during customer acceptance.
    • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to project personnel.
    • Attend stakeholder meetings as necessary.

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • 7+ years of engineering experience with complex hardware/software systems
    • 3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer in the maritime simulator industry
    • Experience in leading engineering teams and working with customers to translate needs into technical requirements
    • Background in software development and simulator design
    • Knowledge of flight simulation industry standards
    ADDITIONAL SKILLS
    • Effective team leadership in a matrix environment
    • Strong relationship building with customers
    • Adaptability in communication and managing priorities
    • Proficiency in software development practices and common business tools

    EDUCATION AND EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required. US Citizenship mandatory for contractual compliance. Must pass security clearance and drug testing as needed. Limited travel may be required.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

    • Ability to perform office duties and travel as necessary
    • Work may involve entering/exiting simulators and additional physical requirements based on location
    • Fast-paced office environment with teamwork and cooperation emphasis
