- Develop, configure, and optimize industrial processes from inception through to start up and certification
- Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes while performing process simulations
- Project management for cost justifications and time constraints
- Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
- Perform risk assessments by taking measurements and interpreting data in turn, providing process documentation and operating instructions
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering with minimum 2 years experience
- Preferred experience includes:
- Designing new processes in a manufacturing environment including capital approval processes
- Proven work experience in process engineering including specification of equipment, run-off, and installation of equipment
- Knowledge of process related standards, Health and Safety regulations (OSHA)
- Experience in process simulations including time studies, line balancing
- Working knowledge of process engineering software packages, CAD, AutoCad, Thingworx, Flexsim or other IIOT and simulation software
- CNC machine tool experience, G code, machining processes, PLC(Programable Logic Controller) and machine connectivity knowledge and SQL programming language knowledge
