Position Summary

Summary of Tasks

  • Conduct a literature review related to Deaf education, creation of sign language dictionaries, and other related topics;
  • Contribute to drafting proposal(s) to create a sign language dictionary in partnership with the Deaf community in Kurdistan, Iraq; and
  • Other key outputs as agreed upon with the Senior Technical Researcher.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Master's degree or equivalent required.
  • Ability to act as an interpreter for Deaf collaborators.
  • Familiarity with the Middle East and North Africa region, specifically Iraq is a plus.
