We are a seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team.

The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for processing payroll, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in payroll software.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process biweekly payroll for 2 corporations
  • Coordinating with HR department to ensure correct employee data is in place
  • Calculating payable hours, commission, bonuses, tax withholding and deductions
  • Adhoc payroll processing for missed or terminated employees
  • Providing accurate information to employees about their payroll related matters
  • Timely resolution of payroll errors and omissions
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Monthly allocation of payroll into accounting system
  • Reconcile bank deposits in accounting system
  • Download invoices from all vendors and process bill pay. Weekly check processing
  • Employee expenses processing

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience working as a payroll assistant or payroll administrator with more than 100 employees
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to details
  • Proficiency with Microsoft excel, word and power point
  • Associate or Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • Proven experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and procedures
  • Familiarity with financial concepts such as journal entries, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
