Creative Scholars Preschool is a play-based program where children develop social, emotional, and problem-solving skills that stay with them for life.

Our center started 15 years ago and has grown throughout the years.

We are looking for a responsible, reliable, open-minded, and flexible Assistant Director. The Assistant Director will help and assist the Director with tasks and operations in the center. They will also help in the classroom as needed.

The Assistant Director must have the passion to work with children, patience to train teachers, and a positive outlook on any situations that may occur.

Responsibilities:

Maintain compliance with state and city licensing.
Maintain child and staff files to ensure compliance with state regulations.
Maintain a childcentered, inviting, and attractive school.
Maintain a safe and sanitary environment for children in compliance with Health Department regulations.
Lead tours to prospective parents, ensuring the school is always tourready and consistently following up to maximize enrollment capacity.
Meet with and welcome all new families. Maintain professional and supportive relationships with families.
Identify and communicate with the Director the school's need for equipment and materials. Ensure that classroom and playground equipment are well maintained and inspected.
Respond to staff concerns/problems and counsel to help find solutions. Facilitate conflict resolution among staff members.
Cover the classrooms as needed.
Implement and Adhere to all Creative Scholars Preschool Handbook and policies

Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in ECE (Early Childhood Education) or
60 semester college credits with a minimum of
18 semester college credit hours in ECE
Minimum 2 years of experience in management in a preschool setting
Minimum 2 years of experience in a classroom preschool setting
