A Driver Lead is an integral part of the daily operational success of the team.To be successful it is necessary to be flexible to business needs, have superior time management and teamwork skills and an obsession with providing a level of performance that stands out from the rest.
As a Driver Lead, you can expect duties that directly affect the safety of vehicles engaging in transportation on public highways in interstate commerce.
The driver lead role will assist with load out, be present as a stopgap for any coverage issues, coverage of any Hot-Shots or Ad-Hoc deliveries, acting as a Second Man as needed, recovering/tendering freight, and assisting with dispatch/fleet management issues as they arise.
The schedule will consist of both on-road days and in-house days. The on-road days may be spent running routes, training new hires and completing any high-profile/complex deliveriesA Driver Lead is an integral part of the daily operational success of the team. To be successful it is necessary

- Assist in AM Preload, ensuring all trucks are loaded safely and in a timely manner.
- Provide oversight and mentoring functions for Drivers/Preload Associates; perform all the duties of a
Warehouse Associate as required:
- Communicate with other Operations Team members as required to ensure all special instructions are
- Ensure TSA Safety measures are met as it relates to building security and Dock Safety.
- Coordinate safety training programs; assist with implementation of training programs; conduct safe
- Safely operate forklift, electric pallet jack and other required material handling equipment while following safety
- Comply with all applicable laws, including TSA/Department of Transportation regulations, as well as company and
- Comprehend all client's HAWB's and Company preload manifest to ensure accurate loading of company vehicles
- Communicate with Operations team members to coordinate work activities.
- Receive, recover, store all nonpilot freight, establishing clear chain of custody.
- Return all MHE to the appropriate trucks after loading vehicles. Pallet Jacks, Four-Wheel Dollies and Two Wheel
- Collaborate with Leadership Team to perform activities outside of established guidelines.
- Demonstrate internal and external customer service.

$ $23.00 per hour
