Compensation: $150,000 $170,000 base, highly competitive commission, equity

The Position:

Core Responsibilities:

Revenue Generation and Forecasting:

  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within government health programs.
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipelines, tracking progress against targets and objectives

Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:
Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for growth within government health programs. Stay abreast of changes in government policies, regulations, and initiatives impacting the healthcare landscape

Strategic Business Development Planning:
Develop and implement a strategic business development plan focused on government health programs, aligning with organizational goals and objectives. Identify key stakeholders and decisionmakers within government agencies and establish relationships to position the company for success. Identify and develop relationships with potential partners to pursue additional business opportunities, including identifying prime contractors who would benefit from subcontracting services to DocGoRelationship Management:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with government officials, agencies, and partners, serving as the primary point of contact for all business development activities in the government health space for DocGo.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of business development efforts with client needs and expectations

Proposal Development and Contract Negotiation:
Lead the development of compelling proposals, presentations, and bids in response to government solicitations and requests for proposals (RFPs). Negotiate contract terms and conditions, working closely with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Public Policy, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred. Proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the healthcare industry, with a focus on government health programs. Deep understanding of government funding models, budgets, procurement policies, and regulations, with a strong network of contacts within relevant agencies and organizations. Demonstrated success in closing complex business opportunities with Federal Government Agencies with values of $50M+. Experience in bid and proposal efforts for Federal contracts Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and solutions to diverse audiences. Strong analytical and strategic planning abilities, with a track record of driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives. Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve high levels of performance and success. Willing and able to travel 50% and at times up 75% as needed to excel in the role
