Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservation Agent to join our team.
As a Reservation Agent, you will be responsible for assisting customers with booking reservations, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring smooth operations.
Duties:
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Assist customers with booking reservations
- Provide accurate information regarding availability, pricing, and policies
- Process reservations and payments accurately and efficiently
- Maintain customer records and update reservation systems as needed
- Handle customer complaints or issues with patience and professionalism
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination for incoming and in house guests
- Assist with inventory control and management of available bookings
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, Streamline, AirBnb, VRBO, and company website to track and analyze reservation data
- Conduct outside sales activities to promote our services to potential customers
- Ability to create and confirm bookings within AirBnb, VRBO, and direct bookings
- Ability to have verbally reach out to guests regarding upcoming stays or in house concerns
- Knowledge of properties
Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is required
- Streamline and AirBnb experience is preferred
- Ability to use a Mac computer
- Strong negotiation skills to secure the best deals for customers
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fastpaced environment
