Description

Sound engineering technician/audio engineer able to operate sound equipment for performances and Dance Recitals.

This includes using this equipment to record, synchronize, mix, edit, or reproduce music, voices, or sound effects for an 1100 seat theater.

Duties and Responsibilities:
To set up and run the soundboard/microphones/speakers and walkie-talkies during events To take care of sound issues when/if they occur To communicate with backstage clients during performances To work with the entire team to help set-up and break down backdrops, and any other equipment needed to be usedQualifications: Knowledge and understanding of sound reinforcement General understanding of sound systems, school has a Midas M32 console and Shure Wireless microphone packageGeneral understanding of safe theatrical rigging practices in hanging lighting fixtures
