R&D Specialist 1

Location:

Assignment Length: 6 months-1 year
Est Hours Per Week: 40hrs


Work Schedule + Time Zone:
~8-5pm

Roles and Responsibilities:
(JD)

  • Maintain a safe R&D lab environment by taking on active safety roles in the R&D lab
  • Follow the guidelines and best practices related to lab notebooks, data storage and backup
  • Conduct and document inventories of chemicals and consumables in the lab
  • Safe handling of hazardous chemicals and canisters
  • Organize the lab storage
  • Conduct welldocumented reactions, purifications, chemical fillings following established instructions

Requirements:


  • College student majoring in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • A team player that puts safety first
Must Have

  • Familiarity with water and moisture sensitive chemicals. Experience with operations inside glove boxes.
Highest Level of Education Required for this Position: B.S in chemistry or related fields

$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
