Role overview

The Operator/Inspector performs a number of essential regular duties including monitoring the machine's performance, removing and inspecting the finished product, packing the envelopes into cartons for shipping and filling out corresponding paperwork.

Functions

Feed cut paper into RA folding machines
Handle boxes containing the product; put envelopes in boxes and place on skids (pallets)
Complete various production reports and enter information into the computer terminal at the work station
Clean the machine and the workplace area as required
Respect the different production rules and procedures
Perform all other related tasks

Requirements and skills

Understand need for Health & Safety and being alert in manufacturing environment
Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
Ability to read measuring devices
Positive attitude
Be able to work alone or in a team
Demonstrate great autonomy and be resourceful

Shift
