- Experience working with research coverage analysis
- Experience in any of the following: Research Administration and Regulations, Medicare Clinical Trial Policy/Medicare, billing rules/Medicare Coverage, Analysis Clinical trial budget development, Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Revenue cycle management, Coding, Accounts receivable/Accounts payable,
- Cost accounting and analysis, Service line profitability and margin reporting, Project Management/Strategic Planning, Policy/Standard Operating Procedure, or Writing/Maintenance
- Basic knowledge and understanding of the regulatory, operational, logistical, and administrative requirements of clinical research studies.
- Ability to provide operational guidance on building clinical trial budgets and financial performance.
- Clinical Trial Management Systems (CTMS) and/or other research software systems.
- Demonstrated ability to train individuals and provide education to small groups.

Description
Position Summary:
The Clinical Research Billing (CRB) Analyst coordinates and executes the financial billing of clinical trials. The analyst is responsible for compilation of statistical, fiscal and metric data as it relates to clinical trial activities. The CRB Analyst also assists with clinical trial billing special projects, ensures timely invoicing, monetary disbursing and tracking, and monitoring of cash flow on funded trials. The CRB Analyst is responsible for research financial system data management and integrity, report writing/report delivery, and financial analysis. The CRB Analyst is responsible for providing education, support, and explanations to all research operations staff related to research finance & billing processes, policies, and regulations.
**Travel to Peoria once per quarter is REQUIRED**
