Responsibilities:


The Regional Medical Advisor contributes to the development and implementation of the overall medical-scientific strategy, as well as the center-specific strategy for large patient centers and other external stakeholders in their area of responsibility.

All activities of the Regional Medical Advisor are medically and scientifically balanced. In some cases, activities may also have a commercial aspect (such as speaker engagements) while adhering to specific guidelines.

The Regional Medical Advisor is responsible for the creation, processing, and communication of current, product- and indication-relevant scientific information.

They provide medical advice/support to all internal ViiV departments (especially patients/health policy, market access, marketing, and sales) as well as certain service departments of GSK (especially clinical research, drug approval, drug safety, and medical information).

As a point of contact for medical professionals, they are responsible for building and maintaining scientific relationships with external experts.
