    We are looking for a well-rounded Senior HR Generalist who can jump into the compliance, policy, and payroll side, as well as the performance management and employee relations side.

    Key responsibilities include:


    Research and support compliance with Federal, State, and local payroll and employment laws and regulationsAssist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures including handbook updatesMaintain required compliance data; compile and complete required reportsServe as back-up person for the Firms payroll utilizing ADP Workforce NowAssist employees with questions and concerns regarding the policies, payroll, benefits, etc.

    Complete registrations with State agencies (withholding tax, unemployment accounts, etc.)


    Support the Firm through external audits such as the 401(k) audit and workers compensation auditsReview and make corrections, if needed, to annual required statements (W-2s, 1095-Cs, etc.)

    Assist with the administration of the performance management systemAddress performance concerns and disciplinary issues in collaboration with managersSupport FMLA and leave of absence processesIdeal Senior HR Generalist candidate has:

    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or business-related field, or related work experience3+ years experience in human resources1+ years experience in payrollEffective written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of organization, focus, exceptional attention to detail, and strong follow-up skills neededHigh comfort level with technology and computer programs, including Microsoft Office programs as well as HR and payroll systemsAttracting, developing, and retaining the best employees are our highest priorities at Abdo.
