Qualifications:

Master's degree in a related field.
Successful experience in teaching at the college/university level.
A proven dedication to diversity and inclusion in both curriculum and the classroom.
Experience with or a clear readiness to engage in teaching, mentoring, research, or service initiatives that enhance an equal, diverse, and inclusive academic atmosphere.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

PhD in Spanish/Linguistics.
Expertise in creating and offering courses for Heritage Learners of Spanish.
Proficiency in Portuguese.
Teaching background in Portuguese.

Additional Details:

This role is a full-time, exempt, benefits-eligible position within the Massachusetts State College Association (MSCA) bargaining unit at a faculty rank matching the individual's experience and qualifications.

Salary will be based on experience as outlined in Appendix O of the MSCA agreement.
