DETAILS:
Per Diem for Day (7am-3pm) and Evening Shift (3pm-11pm)
SUMMARY:
Sky View Rehabilitation and Health Care, a 192-bed Skilled Nursing Facility located in Croton-on-Hudson, NY has an opening for PER DIEM HOUSEKEEPERS on the 7-3/Day and 3-11/Evening Shifts.
Sky View serves as the bridge between hospital and home, spanning the gap from recovery to community reentry.Duties:
Clean and service resident rooms, baths, corridors, utility rooms, and offices;
Helping ensure the overall cleanliness of the facility
- Working in the laundry room following the proper process of washing and drying resident's clothes and facility linens
- Labeling new clothing items for residents as they are brought in
- Clean and disinfect beds, bed stands, and wheelchairs
- Empties waste baskets, cleans and relines them.
Requirements:
- Ability to work well under pressure and be flexible,
- Must have a working knowledge of housekeeping and laundry techniques,
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions required,
- Experience in a health care setting hospital, nursing home, assisted living a plus.
