Overview:


The Director of Operations Systems and Technology will plan the future direction of Warehouse Management Systems and lead the implementation of innovative technologies and processes.


The role will help identify and deliver on projected ROI and efficiency opportunities and will develop SOPs/best practices to drive uniform adoption and execution in the markets.

Developing proper toll gates and scorecards to manage the results to expected KPIs by allocating project resources and partnering with the market operations teams are key elements of the role.


This role will be the functional liaison across of key stakeholders including our Information Technology Team, Market Operations Directors, Project Managers, and Consultants.

Experience in leading teams and directing both internal cross functional and outside resources through a collaborative process is critical to drive the timely and successful delivery of the final solution.


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced operations technology leader to help shape the transformation of infrastructure and operations products at Breakthru Beverage Group.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement the overall Warehouse Management System (WMS) technology strategy in conjunction with IT, aligned with the organization's objectives and growth plans
  • Assess current WMS technology landscape in conjunction with IT, identify gaps, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, visibility, and responsiveness
  • Lead the selection, implementation, and integration of warehouse management systems (WMS) & Labor Management Solutions.
  • Proactively identify potential risks, challenges, and dependencies across programs, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful program outcomes
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including IT, corporate operations, market operations and procurement to identify technology needs, prioritize initiatives, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems
  • Build and develop an Operations Technology team to lead the implementation of new processes and technologies in WMS and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
  • Serves as firstline functional support and funnel to IT for technical support for Delivery Center's Warehouse Management System (WMS), ensuring operational system integrity. Leads "super user" group to facilitate site systems proficiency
  • Other duties, as assigned by the jobholder's manager, may also be required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related work experience
  • Minimum of 10+ years in distribution/warehouse management and logistics including systems implementation and support.
  • Proven record of delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality within an operations or industrial work environment
  • Fully comprehends warehouse activities and has broadbased technology mindset in working in various WMS systems, SAP, Power BI tools, Routing Tools, Proof of Delivery systems, etc.
  • Business Relationship management and partnering expertise with internal and external parters
  • Experience with or driving production comparison evaluations via RFPs
  • Ability to successfully managing an operational budget
  • Excellent prioritizing and organizational skills, and good decisionmaking skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to quickly access current systems and processes to identify strategic areas of improvements by way or technology changes or process changes
  • Proficient PC skills using MS Office (such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Must be a resultsoriented professional with verbal/written communication skills using diplomacy and discretion to lead and communicate with different functional leaders
  • Ability to multitask, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines with limited supervision
  • Travel up to 6080% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Master's degree in related field
  • Understanding of WMS database structure and system specific coding
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience
