Job Description
The Manager,Financial Applications and Reporting reports to the Associate Controller, Cash Managementand Financial Applications and provides technical, accounting and functionalsupport on all financial applications utilized by the Controller's Office.
The Manager provides direction on thestrategy, design and development of financial reporting utilizing a variety ofreporting tools, and analyzes business processes to solve problems orimprove design through identification of system solutions.
In addition, this position manages thedevelopment and testing of all systems/applications that interface to theUniversity's general ledger and manages the financial system's monthly andyearly business processes for the Controller's Office.
Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range:
$87,050 to $108,800; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting or Accounting Information systems, required; MBA combined with accounting experience, preferred.
Experience with ERP financial applications and reporting tools; PeopleSoft and Cognos preferred.
Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google software; advanced user of Excel.
